Today’s treat is from Farmers Fishers Bakers on the Georgetown Waterfront in Washington, DC. The Boston Cream Pie is melt in your mouth creamy fudgy goodness! Beginning with a rich fudge layer topped with a sweet vanilla cake layer topped with fresh whipped cream nestled in a from scratch pie shell. That’s right! Boston Cream Pie in a pie shell. How original! (Yes, I know the original recipe is a cake, not a pie.) What a concept! And out of this world! Thank you, Yelp! And, as usual, enjoyed with fresh brewed coffee!
