Newman-O's Cookie Balls

Today’s recipe is from, adapted from OREO Cookie Balls. Easy, quick, and tasty.

Yields: 48 balls

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 36 Newman-O Cookies, finely crushed
  • 16 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate, melted
  1. Mix cream cheese and cookie crumbs until well blended.
  2. Shape into 48 (1-inch) balls. Freeze 10 min. Dip balls in melted chocolate; place in single layer in shallow waxed paper-lined pan.
  3. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
  • Preparation time: 30 minutes
  • Cook time: 1 hour 10 minutes
  • Total time: 1 hour 40 minutes

    The cookie ball was absolutely delightful. You should contact the company that owns the Oreo product and offer your recipe. I knew you were close to hitting a home run again and so you have done. The texture was so great it bordered on perfect. The cake was smooth and with the texture was chocolate heaven. The chocolate she’ll enhanced the overall taste experience and sent it over the top. The cream cheese base really made it work. I would definitely buy this product at retail as a regular milk and cookie snack item. Thank you for letting me enjoy this item and well done.
